About
Carla Quiroga is a Bolivian designer at the head of the CQ project, which works in collaboration with local labor developing unique and temporary pieces, seeking from a more conceptual proposal, to rescue the heritage of textile craft production in her country.
We find inspiration in the diversity of colors and textures from our landscapes and traditions, from the mountains to the Bolivian amazon. Each collection is made up of pieces that tell our essence, experiences and stories.
He faithfully feels the power of artisanal production and the handmade, it takes care of each part of the process from the design, the conception of the garment, the textile exploration to the final result.
``My search is extensive, I am inspired by the mystical daily life of the markets, the human connection with Bolivian traditions.
Give new meaning to techniques, investigate artisanal resources from my country and translate them into pieces with awareness of production and consumption... My favorite part? Work hand in hand with local artisans´´. CQ
